Seventeen Blues set for international duty (Chelsea FC)

The final international break of the season is upon us with Chelsea Women called up to represent their respective nations over the next two weeks.

[Jessie Fleming](/en/teams/profile/jessie-fleming) and [Kadeisha Buchanan](/en/teams/profile/kadeisha-buchanan) are part of the Canada squad for the trip across the Channel. [Maren Mjelde](/en/teams/profile/maren-mjedle) link up with Norway for two friendly matches starting with Spain this Thursday before facing Sweden in Gothenburg next Tuesday 11 April. Sadly, defender [Millie Bright](/en/teams/profile/millie-bright) has been forced to withdraw from the squad due to injury.

Despite the setback, we remained on top and should have gone into the break ahead. It proved to be the winner. [Zak Sturge](/en/teams/profile/zak-sturge) and [Mason Burstow](/en/teams/profile/mason-burstow) had chances to double our lead, but the young Eagles equalised through Ademola Ola-Adebomi who put the ball past [Gabriel Slonina](/en/teams/profile/gabriel-slonina) after a cute through ball to him in the box.
