The biggest weekend of the year in WWE will feature the likes of Roman Reigns, Logan Paul, Trish Stratus, Lita, Drew McIntyre and Sheamus.

The massive reaction for Ripley’s big win was a testament to the quality of the match. The Bloodline storyline was a winner before this match started as they rightfully main evented Night 1 of WrestleMania. Rey and Dominik Mysterio lived past their lofty expectations in a match that paid off every piece of storytelling leading up to the emotional father-son feud. This WrestleMania card was too good for its big matches not to be among the best of the night, but the tag team Fatal 4-Way set a tone that every match had to work hard to follow. Seth Rollins picked up the win, but in five WWE matches, Logan Paul continues to become a human highlight real. On a stacked WrestleMania card, the tag team Fatal 4-Way was a throwaway match that nobody had any expectations for.

Paul was going to do a frog splash onto Rollins through a table on the outside but Rollins pulled KSI on top of the table and Paul crashed through KSI accidentally instead. Sky later hit a moonsault off the top to everyone on the floor. Becky Lynch is one of the top female wrestling stars of all time, catching fire around 2018 and was the first woman to win a WrestleMania main event. The other story was the crowd, which was quieter most of the way than any other match on the show by a wide margin and sided more with Ripley down the stretch. Flair got the figure four but Ripley got to the ropes. Owens cut off Jimmy with a stunner and Jey hit one last helluva kick on Jey for the pin. The Usos are identical twins who have been one of the best tag teams in the world for over a decade. Shotzi hit a suicide dive to the floor, followed by a Green crossbody to the floor and Rodriguez power bombing Morgan onto the assembled group on the floor. Ronda Rousey is by far the biggest star in the match, one of the biggest attractions in the history of the UFC.

Rhodes full of determination, looking to the sky, a little Garvin Stomp to keep the champion off-balance and Roman rolls to the floor. Jimmy Uso back in, Jey too, brawling with Kev and Sami on the floor and out into the crowd! Throwing Rhodes up the ramp, drawing him up, scoop and a slam on the hardened surface of the ramp! Back to the lockup, back suplex attempt, Cody hangs in there and turns it into a headlock takeover! Back in the ring, back and forth, Edge gets the Impaler and lies in wait! Corner lariats follow, off the ropes, Rhodes sidesteps and nails him with a dropkick, cover for one and right into an armbar! Back to the floor, Finn dropkicks Edge through the table in the corner! Edge goes under the ring and comes up with an armload of red and purple kendo sticks and uses two of them to trap Finn in the corner of the cage! Trading punches, McIntyre with a back elbow on the apron, off the ropes... More kicks, the EST catches one and clobbers her with a forearm! GUNTHER tries to step aside and let the Celts brawl but McIntyre blasts him with a dropkick! Overhead elbows break free, off the ropes and Omos catches him with a chokeslam for two!

It was definitely a match that met the hype and as much as I love Judgement Day, this was the right call to end this feud once and for all. This was the time to finish Cody's story. Of course, it also makes for a more dramatic turn when Cody finally turns the tide and when he hit that Cody Cutter, both the stadium and the press box exploded with excitement. This was the time to introduce something new. This was the time to end Roman's reign. It does a heart good to see Negative 1, the son of the late Brodie Lee, at ringside with Cody's family as a show of support. Still, like most Lesnar matches (and certainly most Omos matches), this was a short and basic fight. That's exactly the kind of playground a master manipulator like Roman loves, as it allows him to bend the rules and get away with it. Ronda and Shayna won by submission (the first of the weekend, so far, unless you count NXT) but there's no telling what that victory will actually mean going forward. Of course, there's still time for that but given this is a Women's Tag Team Showcase match, it felt more like a bout designed to get a bunch of women not in storylines onto the card. The size difference between Brock (known around these parts as Bork Lazer) and Omos is hilarious because the Beast Incarnate is rarely the little guy in the room. WWE is a whore for its statistics, and Roman Reigns was the beneficiary for it. Snoop Dogg came in to save the segment by knocking out The Miz and giving him a People’s Elbow. When they stared each other down in the beginning, all I could think of was every great Rocky movie. Given how restless this crowd was getting, if WWE beat Cody Rhodes tonight there might be a riot in Los Angles. Sikoa would go on to interfere again and again, with more heat every time. Drew McIntyre surprisingly got the better of GUNTHER in a heated chop-off. All other on-camera references to this movie were also booed, and that movie spent all that money on marketing for nothing. The internet wrestling snobs thumbed their nose at this match, but there are few human beings who could get the type of heat that Brock Lesnar and Omos just got for a basic opener. Shane McMahon immediately began unloading punches, and the heat temporarily died. The match promptly ended shortly thereafter as Ronda Rousey trapped Shotzi in an armbar. Asuka, a women’s tag team Fatal 4-Way and Brock Lesnar vs. Asuka’s entrance was great as well, with Asuka clones appearing.

Reigns survived by the skin of his teeth and leaves WrestleMania 39 with his record-setting world title run intact.

Rhodes crawled over to Reigns and covered the champion just as the referee recovered. Owens hit Reigns with a stunner and Zayn got a measure of revenge on the champion with a Helluva Kick that sent shockwaves through SoFi Stadium. The action took a spill to the outside as each man power-slammed the other on the ramp. An absolutely chaotic match, well fit for the rivalry involved and the Hell in a Cell moniker. Cody Rhodes: Rhodes relied on his amateur wrestling background and speed advantage to control his powerhouse opponent in the early portion of the match. Belair ducked a cloud of mist, Asuka side-stepped a hair whip, Asuka rolled into an armbar and Belair lifted Asuka into a KOD for the win. Balor was reeling in pain but managed to kick out of a spear from "The Rated R Superstar." The performers did a masterful job of telling a story of friction and feelings of betrayal between Sheamus and McIntyre. Balor found his way back into the match and drove his heels through Edge with a Coup de Grace. The champion powerbombed Sheamus onto McIntyre and subsequently powerbombed McIntyre for the win. The men's showcase match was a hard act to follow but the women put in a strong effort. The mammoth superstar tossed around Lesnar and effortlessly power-slammed him in the early portions of the match.

In another match that had the crowd invested, Roman Reigns continued his dominant run. Who can end his reign now? Meanwhile, multiple Match of the Year ...

Going for the spear, Rhodes hit a schoolboy and then the Figure Four, which Reigns reversed. Referee is back in and as Rhodes went for the pin, Reigns kicked out. Cross Rhodes attempted but the Usos hit superkicks and the 1D. Going for the Superman Punch, and Rhodes countered with the Pedigree. Reigns with a jawbreaker and a headbutt, following it up with a few clubbing blows to the back of the head. Attempting to skin the cat again, and Reigns landed a Rock Bottom for two. Rhodes with a kick and a right hand, and a scoop slam, the crowd emoting with every move. Balor kicked Edge into the cage, and Balor dropkicked Edge through a table. Belair lifted her up and landed a powerbomb to the outside. The total for the weekend: 161,892. Outside of the main event, GUNTHER, Sheamus, and Drew McIntyre competed in a Match of the Year candidate for the Intercontinental Title. Future Shock DDT to GUNTHER, and as McIntyre went for a Claymore Kick, GUNTHER hit the powerbomb.

Ricochet and Gable ran wild in the match to start, and then Otis played the bully until Strowman came in. He attempted another, but Cena blocked it and put Theory in the STF, and Theory blocked it with another bite to the hand. Braun Strowman and Ricochet, The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford), Alpha Academy (Chad Gable and Otis), and The Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar) are ht participants. The Miz and Snoop Dogg open up the show. They locked up to start and Cena proved he was the superior wrestler early on.
