Premier League Fixture Difficulty: The Run-In | The Analyst (The Analyst)

Brentford have the most difficult run-in according to our Opta Power Rankings. They play Manchester City, Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea, Brighton, ...

They have the second easiest stretch of games to finish the season. Roger Schmidt’s side have a tie against Inter Milan in the quarter-final of the Champions League that they will feel they can win. Benfica have been tearing it up in the Champions League and domestically this season. They don’t have either of Arsenal or City in their last 12 games of the season but do play against Tottenham, Newcastle and Brighton. Of the teams behind them hoping to qualify for the Champions League, it’s good news for Milan. Forget that Nagelsmann has Bayern in the Champions League quarter-final after beating Paris Saint-Germain and is only a point off Borussia Dortmund at the top of the table heading into They have the third easiest run of games to finish the season. The reason they lie close to each other in the fixture difficulty table is mainly because of the overlap in their games – they both play West Ham, Liverpool, Southampton, Brighton, Leeds and Chelsea and then of course that potential title-decider at the end of April at the Etihad. They count Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal, Manchester City and Newcastle amongst their most difficult games before they can draw the curtain on a particularly difficult and dramatic season at Stamford Bridge. The currently sit eighth in the league and our Opta supercomputer predictions give them a 0.4% chance of finishing in fourth. Steve Cooper is already feeling the heat at Forest and there will be little sign of it cooling off before the end of the season. Premier League Predictions: Lawro fancies City v Liverpool draw (Paddy Power News)

The Premier League is back with a bang this weekend as Manchester City host Liverpool in Saturday's early game. Later on, Chelsea welcome Aston Villa to ...

[The latest football odds are on PaddyPower.com right now](https://www.paddypower.com/football) [Saturday 12.30pm: Manchester City v Liverpool](https://www.paddypower.com/football/english-premier-league/man-city-v-liverpool-32180675) [Premier League](https://www.paddypower.com/english-premier-league) predicting guru, [Mark Lawrenson](https://news.paddypower.com/author/mark-lawrenson/). He did what he did in that press conference knowing that they’d have to sack him. Cristian Stellini’s done a great job stepping in for Antonio Conte until they went and lost to Sheffield United in the FA Cup. They can look really good in games and then all of a sudden they concede and they collapse so I’m going to go for a West Ham win in front of a big crown and there might even be some noise there for once! Nottingham Forest 2-1 Wolves. Nottingham Forest lost last time out but they’re in really good form at home. Roy Hodgson’s coaching is generally filling in the blanks, as in, when the opposition look up when they’re on the ball they’ve got no-one to pass to. Brighton are flying at the moment and Evan Ferguson scored for Ireland during the break. I’ve read that they might have a few players missing but I think they’ll have too much for Leeds, I really do. I think it might be a low-scoring draw that won’t be much use to anybody. A bumper round of fixtures, we’re sure you’ll agree.
