After the announcement of results from Adamawa's 21 local government areas, Mr Fintiri polled more votes than Binani.

The Adamawa State governorship election has been declared inconclusive, even as Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri leads with 421524.

As imputed, APC's Binani scored 24,777 while the incumbent governor, Fintiri trailed her with 20,409 from the Fufore local government area. As according to him elections were cancelled in 47 Registration Areas with a total of 41,796 registered voters, while 31,249 Permanent Voter Cards were collected.
