INEC postpones elections in Plateau ward over 'logistics error' (TheCable)

INEC has postponed the governorship and state house of assembly elections in Butura ward in Bokkos LGA of Plateau.

He said after due consultation and further directive from the national headquarters, it was decided that the elections would now hold on March 19. He apologised for the inconveniences caused by the postponement and called on members of the community to come out in their numbers to exercise their franchise. According to NAN, he said in order not to disenfranchise members of the community, the election in the area would now hold on March 19.
