The programme is given a permanent base in 2018 with The Blue Base opening its doors to house the charity’s older person’s provision. In 2015, Everton in the Community launched a joint initiative with Edge Hill University to support children and young people aged six to 16-years with a sport, physical activity and education-based mental health programme. The People’s Place will cater for a range of activities around sport, education and employment, all of which are proven to improve mental health.
