It's time to round up the key Fantasy Premier League (FPL) talking points from this midweek FA Cup fifth-round action. Nine top-flight teams were involved, ...

Up next is Brentford (a), with Solomon’s fitness improving by the week and his form surely set to see him start a league game soon. I think he can and he has to improve, in the quality of play, in ball possession, to keep the ball better. It was interesting to see Bruno Fernandes (£9.8m) once again play the whole match. “He is unique for us in terms of quality, in terms of characteristics. Parading their Carabao Cup trophy before kick-off, Manchester United made six changes to the side that played the final. “We need to look in the medium period, we have many games. He knows very well the way to score. It emphasises just how vital Kane is to Spurs because their squad depth means he couldn’t even get a full rest. “He was ill one week ago and he didn’t train on some days because he was very ill. I feel 100% fit now and comfortable, so hopefully I can come back into the team and help them as much as possible. One of the three sides shocked by lower-league opposition was Spurs, losing 1-0 at Sheffield United. It’s not easy sometimes when you play with discomfort in your feet.

But the petition filed Monday would trim the increase by $8.48. Essentially, the proposal would spread those costs to all FPL customers. But under the petition filed Wednesday, those increases would be trimmed by $4.43 in May. Because of a merger with the former Gulf Power in Northwest Florida, FPL has two sets of rates. Customers' bills are made up of a combination of expenses, such as base rates, fuel costs and environmental costs. "This is good news for customers," Armando Pimentel, president and CEO of FPL, said in a prepared statement about Wednesday's filing.

Florida Power & Light is asking state regulators to reduce its projected fuel charges for a second time in 2023.

When the January plan goes before the Florida Public Service Commission on March 7, regulators might approve a plan to spread the leftover costs of previous hurricanes in Northwest Florida to all FPL customers. Additionally, it asked regulators to reduce its projected fuel spending in 2023 by $1 billion over a nine-month period. In January, the utility proposed recovering from customers $2.1 billion in fuel costs that it did not collect in 2022, which would happen over a 21-month period starting in April. That amounts to $379 million overall. FPL review: Nketiah and Bueno injury updates after Martinelli hauls (Fantasy Football Scout)

We round up the key Fantasy Premier League (FPL) talking points from Wednesday's two Premier League fixtures in our Scout Notes summary.

It wasn’t quite the same for James Tarkowski (£4.4m), ending with zero points over his two outings. The Egyptian was part of another bad moment for FPL managers, as popular Wolves left-back Hugo Bueno (£3.9m) injured a hamstring when chasing him. Arsenal and Liverpool defenders ended this round with two clean sheets, led by van Dijk’s 24 points, the 18 of Oleksandr Zinchenko (£5.1m) and 15 of Gabriel (£5.2m). and more!](/register/) Yet the true star was a man ditched by a large number of managers over recent weeks – Gabriel Martinelli (£6.5m). The team news that really frustrated the FPL community was another benching for Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah (£6.8m). Especially those who captained him, seeing what Saka was doing at the Emirates. Clearly, as the game’s second, third and fourth-best points scorers in this position, Arsenal’s midfielders are the best route into their attack. “When you see it in slow motion you see the contact then, but I still think it was a goal, but that’s not important anymore. I was not worried but of course then you watch it, how the boys react – and the reaction was really good.” – Jurgen Klopp on the disallowed goal [This content is restricted to Premium Members. Owned by over 44% of the top 100k, his underlying stats in the absence of Gabriel Jesus (£7.9m) have been superb and there was optimism that – despite not scoring in six of his previous seven starts – this would be a good Double Gameweek for the 23-year-old.

'The Great and The Good': FPL transfers, rank, template + more (Fantasy Football Scout)

Fantasy Football Scout community writer Greyhead returns for the 2022/23 season with his series of articles analysing the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) ...

As before, this is just up to Gameweek 24, but either way, it’s surprising to see Saka nowhere near his Arsenal colleagues of Martinelli or Martin Odegaard (£7.0m). I am sure the decision will split The Great and The Good, with the more cautious possibly hanging onto their all-mighty chip to make the gains later in the campaign. Elsewhere, we had the trio of Salah, Darwin and Trent entering the fold, along with Nketiah – but I’m not sure how long he will last. Fabio’s purchase of Pablo Sarabia (£5.5m) was particularly impressive. There will be no shock to see Haaland top with eight but it’s maybe a surprise to see Kane with four, as he has been steady rather than spectacular. He could also afford to bench three extra ones! Joe even went down the route of a double Toffees defence but despite that, he will be sweet on his ranking this week as is now up to 54,000 and sits comfortably in fourth amongst these managers. The century was achieved without any hits and by disregarding Mohamed Salah (£12.7m) and Darwin Nunez, and as a result of which he halved his rank from 880,000 to 400,000. - Pras – Darwin, Robertson, Salah (Mitrovic, Shaw, De Bruyne) Not sure about that transfer in of Ellis Simms (£4.5m), though. The other centurion was Neale Rigg, who kept faith in Martinelli. “I can see clearly now the rain is gone.

Crystal Palace’s injury-hit defence and poor clean sheets record would suggest so. Gibbs-White has scored 64 of his 84 points in home matches this season and Forest host relegation-threatened Everton, leaving the potential for a big points tally come the end of GW26. It’s safe to say that Forest players are rarely on our essential pick lists, but the marauding and brilliant Morgan Gibbs-White has the potential to offer a lot to managers in GW26. In the midst of numerous double gameweeks, Gameweek 26 is a more normal one with every team playing just once.

LEICESTER away at Southampton is an interesting one after both sides were dumped out of the FA Cup in midweek. They host Bournemouth, just days after hitting four past one of the Cherries' fellow strugglers in Everton. Gabriel and William Saliba have been popular defensive options but White has contributed defensive points. It's hardly a surprise to be mentioning ARSENAL here considering they sit five points clear at the top of the That's not to say that there won't be goals though, and there are a couple of fixtures to target across the weekend. There are crucial games at both ends of the table, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see this week being a lower scorer given those games and the potential for low returns.

Jadon Sancho (illness) and Luke Shaw (minor injury) missed the midweek cup win over West Ham, with Erik ten Hag saying that he hoped Shaw’s issue was “not too bad” but that United would have to assess the left-back before the trip to Anfield. It looks like Dominic Calvert-Lewin (hamstring) will struggle to play any part in Everton’s trip to Nottingham Forest, while Andros Townsend (ACL) also remains out and a minor knee issue has stalled Nathan Patterson‘s comeback. Solly March missed out on the midweek cup win at Stoke with a minor issue that his manager said “was not a big problem”, while Roberto De Zerbi also said on Monday that he expected Pervis Estupinan (muscle) to be back for the West Ham match. Ryan Yates (illness) ought to be back in contention after a recent return to training. Aleksandar Mitrovic (hamstring) returned from injury in Tuesday’s cup win over Leeds United. We hope not too bad, we have to see how it develops until Sunday [when we play at Liverpool]. Naby Keita sat out the midweek win over Wolves with a knock, meanwhile. And then the team grew especially with Thomas (Partey) as Jorg(inho) was not feeling good today.” – Mikel Arteta Thiago Silva is the latest addition to the Chelsea injury list after damaging knee ligaments last weekend. “[Maddison] has virtually done no training for a couple of weeks. Mohamed Elneny (knee) remains out long-term and, although recent training ground updates on Gabriel Jesus (knee) have been positive, he’s not expected back in Gameweek 26. Mislav Orsic recovered from a concussion to feature in midweek.

The former Real Madrid midfielder opened the scoring for the Red Devils in an EFL Cup triumph. Darwin Nunez will be a good choice among the Differential picks. His form saw a little bit of dip after Christmas but he found the rhythm when he scored in big games. One of the top most favorites to pick up the armband for Gamweek 26 is Marcus Rashford who has been outstanding since the World Cup break. So where might some value be in players not highly selected? Here is our weekly offering. Leandro Trossard (£6.6m, Arsenal v Bournemouth). Owned by 7.6%.

Please register and tell us in the comments. Could his signing be the tonic that West Ham needed? Still owned by only a tiny 2.6% of players, he’s one to consider this week. Last week Ings came back to life with two goals for his new team West Ham, and he can be a prolific striker when fit and in-form. Leicester’s isn’t the most watertight in defense, so he’s one to consider again this week. He has now scored in five successive games, and who would bet against that continuing at home to an erratic Palace side? And what’s the next chip play you have in mind? ~ While it’s difficult to predict which Spurs will turn up at any time, Emerson has been in terrific form over the past six games, scoring twice and managing four clean sheets to rack up 45 points including 8 bonus points over that period. There is a game today against Everton, so keep an eye on what happens there. There will surely be goals for Arsenal here, and while it’s hard to know exactly where they will come from, Trossard could again be involved. If you like omens, his best game of the season for his previous club Aston Villa came away at Brighton where he amassed 13 points.

Who do you think will shine and flop? Erling Haaland’s storybook season has cast a shadow on Harry Kane’s brilliant performances, as the England captain has quietly scored a whopping 18 league goals in this campaign. Like Marcus Rashford and Erling Haaland, Ollie Watkins has been banging in goals of late. Despite not featuring in the 4-1 win over Bournemouth, KDB made his return with a goal against Bristol City in the mid-week FA Cup fixture. Shaw has been one of the stand-out players for the Red Devils and his execution on set-pieces is amazing, as he demonstrated against Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final. A great differential player who has the lowest TSB of all of Arsenal’s starting defenders, and his attacking threat just keeps on improving. Since the signing of fellow right-back Pedro Porro, Emerson Royal has looked like a different player altogether. Estupinan is one of FPL’s most in-form defenders, providing returns of six or above in each of his previous five fixtures for a total of 36 points. Ramsdale has been key in the backline for Arsenal and his important saves during crucial moments sets him apart. Forster has definitely usurped Danny Ward for being the most favourable budget-friendly keeper right now. ~ [FA Cup](http://www.sbnation.com/fa-cup) results have wrought havoc on the EPL schedule.

Bournemouth at home in Gameweek 26 will likely have fantasy managers licking their lips when it comes to Martinelli’s prospect of further points and it would be no surprise if a sizeable number of them afforded him the armband. He is also expected to be on penalties for Aston Villa after smashing one home from the spot against Everton in Gameweek 25. One of those players who seems to permanently go under-the-radar within the FPL community, no matter how much form he is in, Ollie Watkins (£7.3m) is making it very difficult for anyone to ignore him at present. Since the World Cup break, Rashford has netted ten goals in the league alone and is coming off the back of having scored in the Carabao Cup final last weekend, as the Red Devils defeated Newcastle 2-0. As is the case in every round of fixtures, we mark out three premium captaincy options, alongside a differential selection for those FPL managers looking to make up some ground ahead of Saturday’s 11:00 deadline. Whilst Saka picked up 15 points from his two games, Salah managed 11 points, although there was less success for the Egyptian’s teammate Darwin Nunez (£8.8m) and differential pick James Tarkowski (£4.4m), who failed to gain a single point as Everton fell to consecutive defeats across the gameweek.
