Match highlights of every Premier League game to be shown on the Sky Sports website and app just after full-time; watch Chelsea vs Fulham, Newcastle vs West ...
The price is tight enough at 8/5 with Sky Bet for an away win so getting a bit braver and banking on Leeds to win by two or more goals at 5/1 is worth a small interest. Yet, there is enough of an argument here to take on the Toon at 8/13 for the win with Sky Bet, and invest in West Ham to avoid defeat at 5/4. If you look at the last 13 occasions when a non-big six side have made a cup final, only two of those teams managed to win their next league match (W2, D4, L7) and the team in question only scored 12 goals in those 13 encounters. It's a run of results that is a tad misleading as when assessing the performance data they deserved more from defeats at Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, Leicester and Tottenham. A win over Bournemouth and Michael Olise's last-minute wonder goal in the 1-1 draw with United have kept the focus off Patrick Vieira for the time being but it's hard to make a case for them at Old Trafford. Newcastle aren't usually a team to bet against as Eddie Howe has built a magnificently resolute and together group that have quality in key areas of the pitch. That can be seen through his fouls committed data in the last two fixtures: he made two vs Chelsea and four at Brighton in the FA Cup. This more direct approach of getting the ball into dangerous positions quicker does tend to get the crowd involved and when Goodison Park is on song, it's a tough place for the opposition to play. There is now a clear philosophy and method to the way Villa are structured with and without the ball - they are difficult to create big chances against and play with great intensity when tasked with breaking forward. Fulham are vulnerable through the centre of their defence and Havertz somehow failed to score from a 0.40 worth of an expected goals tally in the 2-1 defeat at Craven Cottage. That balance stems from the midfield duo of Douglas Luiz and Boubacar Kamara, who can do it all - from stellar defensive work to bursting through midfield to start counter attacks. The 5/1 on him scoring first and 11/1 to score twice are punts to keep in mind.

The theory goes that the biggest deals of the football season have been done and the chaos of the transfer market can be put back in its box until summer.
[Leeds](https://theathletic.com/football/team/leeds-united/), meanwhile, are expected to continue their multi-year deal with SBOTOP. [Wolverhampton Wanderers](https://theathletic.com/football/team/wolverhampton-wanderers/) are also due to see shirt sponsorship agreements expire at the end of this season. [Aston Villa](https://theathletic.com/football/team/aston-villa/) have had a backlash from supporters after a proposed deal with online casino [BK8 — which was axed by Norwich in 2021 over sexually provocative adverts](https://theathletic.com/2643516/2021/06/10/norwichs-bk8-pr-disaster-was-an-embarrassment-for-a-club-used-to-the-moral-high-ground/) — became public earlier this month. [Manchester United](https://theathletic.com/football/team/manchester-united/) are in the market for a shirt sponsor after it was announced in December that [the club and TeamViewer, the German software firm, had agreed to curtail a deal due to run until 2026](https://theathletic.com/4006335/2022/12/15/man-utd-teamviewer-sponsor/). It is in the bottom half of the Premier League where partnerships with gambling firms figure most prominently. Manchester United’s deal with TeamViewer — which replaced Chevrolet before the 2021-22 season — was worth more than Chelsea’s arrangement with 3, and there will be ambitions to see greater sums recouped with a new long-term partnership. But doing those deals at the same time places a hell of a strain on the commercial team.” The cornerstone of a healthy portfolio of sponsors are your major assets that you want locked in for the long-term at premium value. Those figures will be viewed through cynical eyes by the European football establishment, but the pressure is on to maximise their own income. The marketing world expects a backer with links to Saudi Arabia after the Public Investment Fund takeover transformed life at St James’ Park, creating an untapped source of revenue for a club that trailed its rivals by a distance under Mike Ashley. Etihad, the UAE-based airline, is expected to continue its long partnership as shirt sponsor if something more lucrative cannot be found, but the water is being tested by the Premier League champions. [Chelsea](https://theathletic.com/football/team/chelsea/), the biggest spenders in January, have neither a front-of-shirt nor a sleeve sponsor for next season.

John Stones will miss Manchester City's Premier League trip to Tottenham with a hamstring injury that is expected to keep him out for at least three weeks.
Rodri and Kevin De Bruyne in midfield, of course, with Riyad Mahrez, Erling Haaland and Jack Grealish continuing in attack. Adding Aymeric Laporte next to him provides a bit more cover on that side, while Kyle Walker may be better on the right against Son Heung-min. That tactic only paid off in the second half after Spurs scored twice, though, so maybe another body in midfield could be useful in North London. Phil Foden is fit again but it is hard to look past the in-form wing duo that have been ticking along nicely with goal contributions. John Stones misses out through injury and this feels like a good game to bring Ruben Dias back in after his issues. Otherwise, Guardiola should have a strong squad to pick from as City look for their first win at Spurs' new stadium.
Manchester City will be without John Stones for today's trip to Tottenham, with the England international likely to miss up to a month of action.
Riyad Mahrez scored twice and assisted a third in City's 4-2 win over Spurs last month and should keep his place, while Guardiola hinted at minutes for Phil Foden by telling reporters: "He has trained well these last two days." [anchester City](/topic/manchester-city) will be without [John Stones](/topic/john-stones) for today’s trip to [Tottenham](/topic/tottenham), with the England international likely to miss up to a month of action.
