Carlo Ancelotti discusses Arsenal & Chelsea interest in Eduardo ... (90min)

Carlo Ancelotti has discussed the future of Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga amid links to Arsenal and Chelsea.

While Arsenal look set to miss out on Eduardo Camavinga, they are closing in on the signing of centre-back Jakub Kiwior from Spezia, while they remain in talks for Real Valladolid right-back Ivan Fresneda. Camavinga has made just five starts for Real Madrid in La Liga this season, while he has clocked only 1,041 minutes at club level. Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti insists that Eduardo Camavinga is considered 'untouchable' and will not be leaving the club this transfer window.

Arsenal: Agent denies chances of Eduardo Camavinga loan (FootballFanCast.com)

Fabrizio Romano has revealed that the agent of Eduardo Camavinga has denied talk that the Real Madrid midfielder could join Arsenal on loan this January.

And if the youngster feels as though he would prefer to move to try and get more minutes, Arsenal could be an attractive proposition. And so, in theory, Camavinga could join on loan now to help with the club’s title ambitions before then going back to Madrid, leaving space for Rice to join ahead of the start of next season. Real Madrid will not let 'untouchable' youngster leave amid Arsenal ... (Madrid Universal)

The Gunners have been very active in the market of late, having signed Leandro Trossard while also pushing for the captures of Jakub Kiwior and Ivan Fresneda.

As for Kroos, the German pass master has always insisted that he wants to go out on a high and has not ruled out an early retirement. Nacho’s situation is a bit different from the aforementioned trio as the versatile defender has seen his game-time take a hit this season. Among these, the future of Mariano Diaz is as good as sealed as the Merengues have no desire to offer him a new deal. And whether they stay at the club beyond the current season is totally up to the players. He further adds that the club retain total faith in Camavinga and see him as an important player for the present and the future. Camavinga, however, has seen his game-time continue to be restricted this season as well.

Exclusive: Kiwior to Arsenal transfer imminent, Fresneda talks + ... (CaughtOffside)

Kiwior completed all the medical tests on Sunday — he will be unveiled soon as a new Arsenal player once his five-and-a-half-year deal is signed. Spezia and ...

Man United is always in the news with those stories but the reality is that nothing is decided now on who’s going to be the new striker. Manchester United will explore many situations for a top striker in June, but at the moment I’m not aware of contacts between Harry Kane and any other club. I know there’s lot of noise on this but Man United hope to have new owners, probably new people into the board as happened with Chelsea… Fans have always supported me, and I also want to give something back to them and the club.” Chelsea are monitoring Malo Gusto, they are interested in a new right-back, but there is no official bid for him at the moment, or for another target, Denzel Dumfries. Manchester City have completed the signing of Argentinian talent Maximo Perrone — documents are signed on clubs/player side, here we go confirmed! On Mason Mount rumours – at the moment, I’m told that Liverpool’s top priority remains Jude Bellingham and they also follow Matheus Nunes. Newcastle are also interested, and the player’s agents will be in London next week to speak to English clubs. Brighton are set to sign Swedish midfielder Yasin Ayari, deal agreed with AIK and here we go – agreement for fee around €6m. Camavinga is not leaving in January, he’s untouchable for Real Madrid and he doesn’t want to leave. He said: “I was honoured by interest of other clubs, but ultimately it’s a decision of the heart. It is not that we had to sign 20, 21, 22 year olds for the next five years.

Arsenal want Eduardo Camavinga but Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has now hailed the midfielder after a 'spectacular' performance.

Arsenal have 'concern' over potential injury at the Emirates (GiveMeSport)

Mikel Arteta has been hard at work in the January window, identifying several targets that could bolster the Gunners' bid for Premier League glory. Arsenal ...

They would like the right fit, again, they’re not going to go and sign someone just for the sake of it.” Spezia man Kiwior looks to be the most likely bet to provide that function. What if we end up with an absence in the centre of midfield? Of course, the central midfield area has been a position light on numbers which Arsenal are looking to bolster. It is not yet clear whether the La Liga giants would sanction a move; however, Arsenal are mooted to be keen on his services. Transfer insider Jones believes that although there will be concern over the lack of numbers Arsenal have to pick from in midfield, they will only enter the market for the ‘right fit’ this month.

Eduardo Camavinga Arsenal hope, Ivan Fresneda transfer impact ... (Football.London)

football.london takes a look back at the highlights from our Q and A session with chief Arsenal correspondent Kaya Kaynak.

Youri Tielemans meanwhile is not a deal that I understand Arsenal are looking at right now and as far as I know Elneny will not be heading to Turkey this month. KK: It's no secret that Arsenal are looking to add a midfielder to the squad. Lokonga has covered for Partey in the six role, but it's safe to assume that Arteta prefers Elneny in the position if he has the option. Right now we know it is a knee injury, and the club are continuing to monitor it. I don't think it's a necessity for Arsenal to improve the midfield right now, especially after the arrival of Leandro Trossard has enabled Emile Smith Rowe to play as an eight. The Gunners are open to strengthening if they find the right deal though, and with just over a week remaining of the transfer window you can never say never. Q: Do links to Eduardo Camavinga mean Arsenal are pursuing a central midfielder before the January transfer window closes? He has played that role on one occasion this season, but generally he has been the left-sided centre back in a three. How active Arsenal are could be impacted by the injury situation at the club, with [Mohamed Elneny currently sidelined with a knee problem](https://www.football.london/arsenal-fc/fixtures-results/mikel-arteta-arsenal-injury-united-26011509). [Eduardo Camavinga coming in on loan from Real Madrid](https://www.football.london/arsenal-fc/transfer-news/arsenal-announce-camavinga-transfer-decided-26038172), while football.london understands that Arsenal have held [talks with Ivan Fresneda's representatives over a potential arrival](https://www.football.london/arsenal-fc/transfer-news/arsenal-ivan-fresneda-bellingham-transfer-26045675). KK: If Fresneda does come in then that doesn't necessarily mean the end for Brooke Norton-Cuffy or Reuell Walters. Below we take a look behind the scenes at some of the highlights.
