The record year comes in the middle of UA's Rising Tide capital campaign, which aims to raise $1.5 billion for a variety of projects on campus.

Director of Forensics Ganer Newman said: “Our students took a lot of initiative preparing for this competition. Across the two tournaments, WKU students earned a championship in seven out of 11 events and earned 38 total finals.
