A statement from the Premier League said: ” The Premier League has agreed with Uefa to postpone Arsenal FC’s Premier League match with Manchester City FC, originally due to be played on 19 October, to allow for Arsenal FC’s re-arranged Uefa Europa League game with PSV Eindhoven. “A new date for the Arsenal FC vs Manchester City FC fixture will be announced in due course,” the Premier League said. A date has yet to be set for the rearranged fixture. Uefa told Arsenal they must complete the fixture by 3 November or forfeit the game, so the Premier League allowed them to place the game this Wednesday. This game was supposed to take place in London on 15 September, but was called off due to policing concerns, with numbers spread thin due to the death of the Queen the week prior.
