Valencia have beaten Osasuna 2-1 in a testy Spanish league match with the hosts reduced to nine men.

"These three points are extra important for us because they come against a good team like Osasuna," Kluivert said after his team's first win on the road since Gattuso took over this summer.

WATCH: Milan legend Gattuso kicks out & fumes at own player after ... (Goal.com)

Valencia boss Gennaro Gattuso raged at Mouctar Diakhaby after the defender was sent off while he was on the bench after being taken off.

The coach took his frustration out on the team's cool box after Diakhaby was shown a second yellow card in the 89th minute while sitting on the bench, apparently for using inappropriate language towards the referee. THE BIGGER PICTURE: Diakhaby's dismissal was one of three red cards in a stormy match. The win is Valencia's first away from home since Gattuso took charge in June.
