NECO releases 2022 SSCE results (Vanguard)

National Examinations Council, (NECO) has released this year's Senior School CERTIFICATE Examinations, (Internal) results.

The number of candidates who made Credit and above in the English language is 889,188 representing 74.89% while the number of candidates who made Credit and above in Mathematics is 929,140 representing 78.23%. Total number of candidates who actually sat for the examination is. The result also shows that the number of candidates who made five credits and above including English and Mathematics is 727,864 representing 60.74%.

NECO releases 2022 SSCE results, records 60% pass (Premium Times)

NECO said apart from four schools recommended for de-recognition over examination malpractice, 29 teachers were also sanctioned for their involvement.

“The Council has a long-standing tradition of zero tolerance for malpractice. Good journalism costs a lot of money. He, however, noted that NECO would remain steadfast in its commitment to sanitising the system. He, however, said 22,422 registrants failed to take part in the examinations. This indeed is a big achievement.” Mr Wushishi said the figure of those involved in examination malpractice in 2021 was 20,003 and that it represented 1.63 per cent of the total number of candidates for the year.

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the results of the 2022 June/July Senior School Certificate Examinations (SSCE).

“Number of candidates who made five (5) Credits and above irrespective of English Language and Mathematics is 1,011,457 representing 84.40%. “Number of candidates who made five (5) Credits and above including English Language and Mathematics is 727,864 representing 60.74%. Whereas 20,003 representing 1.63% cases were recorded in 2021.” Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, said the results were released just after 45 days the last paper was written by school-based candidates. “Number of candidates who made Credit and above in Mathematics is 929,140 representing 78.23%. The National Examination Council (NECO) says no fewer than 727,864 representing 60.74 per cent of the 1,198,412 candidates who sat for this year’s Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) got five credits and above including English language and Mathematics. In the same vein, 929,140 candidates scored credits and above in Mathematics.

The National Examinations Council, NECO on Thursday released the 2022 Senior School Certificate Examination, SSCE, internal results.

The NECO boss however said only 1,198,412 candidates actually sat for the examination with 630,180 male, representing 52.58 per cent and 568,232 female, representing 47.41 per cent. He said the number of candidates who made five Credits and above including English Language and Mathematics is 727,864 representing 60.74 per cent. Wushishi noted that 1,209,703 candidates registered for the examination with 636,327 male, representing 52.60 per cent and 573,376 female, representing 47.39 per cent.
