Fantasy Premier League: now it is time to wildcard (BOL News)

It always depends on the squad who can't field 11 players this week without hits, it's time to wildcard in Fantasy Premier League (FPL).

Reece James is the only player on my wildcard who does not have a game this week (6.0). Salah (12.9) and Haaland (12.0) square off in GW11, therefore Mitrovic—who faces Bournemouth at home—might be considered for the captaincy. James has the biggest potential of any defender in this game on his best day, and at 6.0, I still believe he offers exceptional value. Similarly, Arsenal has a difficult stretch ahead of them and misses out on GW12. He got four goals the last time he went to Molineux! He becomes the best assist and goal threat in the league when he plays in these positions. He has established himself as a fixture-proof player, and after witnessing what he has accomplished against some of the league’s top players, I am really eager to own him for the upcoming round of games. It’s important to note that Manchester City won’t play in GW12 because their match against Arsenal was postponed, but up until that time, we should be betting heavily on the Champions. I’m partnering with Nick Pope (5.1) and Kieran Trippier (5.3), who last time out racked up an incredible six opportunities against Crystal Palace. The Belgian is playing extremely advanced right now, so it gives me hope to see him off Haaland’s shoulder so frequently. James’ Park, and with home games coming up against Bournemouth, Brentford, Everton, and Aston Villa, I believe we need to make an investment in their back line. Many FPL managers are asking me whether they should free hit this week, and while I could give you 101 reasons why you shouldn’t, I’ll leave you with just two: double gameweeks!

FPL and mental health: Why the game is a positive to me (Fantasy Football Scout)

In the article below, site regular Notlob Legin hails the positive aspects of not just Fantasy Premier League (FPL) but also you, the Fantasy Football Scout ...

I read almost every comment posted and overall, love the community. To me, FPL is my escapism from normal life and I unashamedly say I love it. I also understand that most people are in a very different situation to me personally and that the game may impact you in different ways, But to me, it is, without doubt, the thing that keeps me going. To me, every article appears to be positioned towards how FPL can have a negative effect on your mental health – but I think in my case it’s the complete opposite! I spend hours on here every day and get great pleasure in making my own decisions. I have two grown-up children and about five years ago, I “inherited” my other son; he has behavioural issues, goes to a specialist school and has had quite an impact on our lives.
