Musa, who started his career with Kano Pillars in Nigeria, has played for several clubs in Europe notably, CSKA Moscow, Leicester City and Al-Nassr before he moved to Turkey where he signed for Karagumruk in the 2021-2022 season. Ahmed Musa, the 29-year-old Nigeria international had earlier on Friday parted ways with Karagumruk, who confirmed terminating his contract and signed for Sivasspor on a two-year deal, according to Goal.com. On terminating his contract which was set to run until June 2023, Karagumruk could not give reasons behind the move.

Sivasspor was looking for a first win in nine matches, while Karagumruk was looking to build on the first win of the season it achieved last time out. The Super Eagles captain completed his move to Sivasspor on Friday afternoon just hour after Karagumruk terminated his contract.
